PTFE lined flush bottom tank drain valves are used in a wide variety of applications where corrosive or dangerous liquids need to be drained quickly and safely. The PTFE lining protects the valve body from the corrosive effects of the liquid, while the flush bottom design ensures that no liquid is left in the valve body after draining.
PTFE lined flush bottom tank drain valves work by using a PTFE lined ball or plug to seal the valve shut. When the valve is opened, the ball or plug is pulled out of the way, allowing the liquid to flow out of the valve body. Once the liquid has been drained, the ball or plug is replaced, sealing the valve shut again.
