MACIL access product DLC (Digital Loop Carrier) system offers FTTB (Fiber to the Building), FTTC services. Using the latest ADSL technology, MACIL offers IPDSLAMs for service providers a very cost-effective solution for immediate implementation of multiple services in private and public networks. MACIL IP DSLAMs enable people inside buildings to share the expensive uplink bandwidth and moves the Internet point of presence (POP) into the buildings. MACIL IP DSLAMs can also be used to ISPs through Ethernet Switches and Routers, since the IP DSLAM s terminates ADSL ATM circuits and converts the traffic to Ethernet-VLAN tagged packets. MAC's PDH optical range of products multiplexes basic 2Mbps streams into 8/34/140 Mbps PDH streams as per a relevant ITU-T (G.703, G.742, G.751) recommendations. The multiplexed aggregate signal is converted into an optical signal at 1310 nm to be transmitted through a single mode optical fiber cable. The equipment configuration permits availability of stand- alone electrical multiplexers, optical line terminal equipments or regenerators.
