MAC's PDH optical range of products multiplexes basic 2Mbps streams into 8/34/140 Mbps PDH streams as per a relevant ITU-T (G.703, G.742, G.751) recommendations. The multiplexed aggregate signal is converted into an optical signal at 1310 nm to be transmitted through a single mode optical fiber cable. The equipment configuration permits availability of stand- alone electrical multiplexers, optical line terminal equipments or regenerators. Large numbers of these equipments are deployed in Indian Department of Telecom network and also in other service providers.
