Specifications

• Fittings used for connecting copper tubing are made of Copper and brazed type
• Connection as per BS: 864: Part 2:1983
• All pipe-jointing fittings are made of Copper as per BS 864 Standards and suitable for a steam of working pressure of 17 bars and especially made for brazed socket type connections.
• Shut off valves suitable for the pipe diameter are of non lubricated 90° turn lever & having stainless steel hard chrome brass body with PTFE seat and S.S. ball.
• Sizes will be appropriate for copper pipes with screw threaded ends and brass adapter.All valves are pneumatically tested for twice the working pressure and degreased for medical gas service before supply.

A) Manifold Shall Consist of Two High-pressure Header Bar Assemblies to Facilitate Connection of Primary and Secondary Cylinder Supplies. Each Header Bar Shall Be Provided with ------ Numbers( as per Hospital Requirement) of Cylinder Pigtail Connections to Suit Cylinder Valves as per is 3224 Incorporating a Check Valve At the Header Connection. Manifold Should Be Suitable to Withstand a Pressure of 150 Kg/cm2, Along with High Pressure Copper Annealed Tail Pipes with End Brass Adapter Suitable for Cylinders and Manifold. the High-pressure Header Bar Shall Be Designed in such a Manner that It Can Be Extended to Facilitate Additional Cylinder Connections. Each Header Bar Assembly Shall Be Provided with a High-pressure Shut-off Valve. Top Frame Comprising of High Pressure Copper Pipes of Size 1/2 I.d. X 15swg with High Pressure Brass Fittings Made of High Tensile Brass and Connections Through Non- Return Valves ; High Pressure Copper Tail Pipes, Made of High Pressure Copper Pipe of Size 1/4 I.d. X 15 Swg. b) the Manifold Should Be So Designed that It Shall Suit Easy Cylinder Changing and Positioning. c) the Middle and Bottom Frame to Be Provided to Fit Both Round and Flat Bottom Cylinders Safely.
