Lenalid have lenalidomide and belongs to a class of medications called immunomodulatory agents. Lenalid helps to promote immune responses to prevent inflammation in the body.Lenalid is used for treatment of a certain type of myelodysplastic syndrome (a group of conditions in which the bone marrow produces blood cells that are misshapen and does not produce enough healthy blood cells) caused by an abnormal chromosome. Lenalid is also used for treatment of anemia (a lack of red blood cells in the body) and along with dexamethasone for the treatment of multiple myeloma (a type of cancer of the bone marrow) who have received at least one prior therapy.
