Underground & upper ground Fuel Storage Tanks MFG (MEGA FIBERGLASS) fiberglass fuel, water storage tanks are a rust-proof, cost-effective alternative to steel tanks. Ask your MFG sales representative about the distinct advantages that MFG offers over steel tanks in this age of ethanol fuels and biodiesel fuel products. Double-wall fiberglass storage tanks offer customers full 360-degree secondary containment providing maximum protection of the environment. The very popular MFG TRUCHEK hydrostatic monitoring system is one option to consider. Available in capacities ranging from 600 gallons to 40, 000 gallons. Multi-compartment fiberglass storage tanks are a popular choice when storing two or three grades of fuel in a single tank within separate compartments. In many cases, these tanks provide overall savings vs. two or three separate tanks. Available in capacities up to 40, 000 gallons, MFG multi-compartment tanks come standard with double-wall bulkheads. Single-wall fiberglass storage tanks are available in capacities ranging from 600 gallons to 50, 000 gallons. Triple-wall fiberglass storage tanks provide customers with the most advanced level of security when secondary containment isn't enough. A small number of jurisdictions regulate it. A triple-wall tank is available in sizes up to 40, 000 gallons and offers four monitoring options. Chemical / Leachate Storage Tanks Underground storage tanks for chemical storage and landfill leachate collection is a very "niche" application that project owners and designers are very selective about when looking to a manufacturer. MFG' unparalleled experience in fabrication of underground tanks for the storage of petroleum products sets us apart from any other supplier. Chemical storage tank applications include emergency drain collection run off, water treatment chemical storage, airport deicing and other industrial gravity drain requirements. Leachate storage tank applications include municipal, industrial, mining and agricultural waste landfills. Diesel Storage Tanks The best storage choice for an emerging need - DEF Changing regulations and new diesel engine technology are creating demand for a new product, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). The DEF is stored in the on-board containers of newer diesel engine vehicles and injected into the exhaust stream. It is designed to be used with the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems that are now mandated on many new diesel powered vehicles, as a step toward reducing the nitrogren oxide (NOx) exhaust from these vehicles. A MFG Solution A MFG fiberglass underground storage tank is an ideal choice for facilities where bulk storage of DEF is necessary. Underground storage offers greater capacity than most aboveground options, while also providing advantages unique to the special storage requirements for DEF. When choosing underground storage, don’t rely on the long-term integrity of special internal liners to prevent DEF contamination with carbon steel. Choose the MFG fiberglass solution.
