these are made of c.i. Casting and shell moulding. The cross-line boring is performed on each piece to achieve virtually distortion less inner bore. The hardness is maintained between 90 to 95 hrb. Our range varies from 35mm to 100mm and is applicable in mopeds, two/three wheelers, moto cycles, air compressors, industrial engines and tractors.

Liners are made from graded cast iron with medium phosphorus and prelatic with perfect micro structure employing centrifugal / Gravity or shell mould casting process depending on type of liner. Type Of Liners  Wet Liner  : These liners are used in Water cooled engines of different types, designs recommended by the O.E. They are made of cast iron alloy with centrifugal process machined to close tolerances.  Dry Liner (Sleeves)  : These sleeves are made from high graded cast iron or Semi-Finished and are Fully-Finished with or without collars. These are used in water cooled engines where water is not in contact with the Liner.Cylinder Liners – Sleeves, made of grey cast-iron, ought to have desired casting and machining qualities, viz. strength, toughness, hardness and wear resistance. These are mainly of two types – Dry liner-sleeves and Wet liner-sleeves. The liners-sleeves are ‘cast-in fit’, force (press) fit or slip fit. The interference between its outer diameter and bore-hole walls depends on fit-type from 0.050 to 0.075 mm. These are available in wide range suitable for light, medium and heavy duty application.

Gudgeon pin is a component to fasten the piston and the connecting rod severally and securely, but at the same time permitting enough play for the free angular movement of the connecting rod according to the requirements of kinematics of the engine assembly. They are very essential for the carefree running of the engine and it depends upon the quality of the gudgeon pin whether an engine will live upto its designed life period of operation. The power generated by the combustion of inflamed gases is harnessed by the piston and transmitted further to the crank shaft via piston rod, in which the gudgeon pin plays a vital pivotal role. Most of the gudgeon pins are hollow cylinders made out of special alloy steels having highly polished and hard outer surface to bear the wear and tear due to the to and fro motion of the piston shaft.
