Bearing Plates / Wear Plates (Bronze metal) are used for heavy load bearing system having low velocity of movement E.g pipe support system, bridge bearing plates etc. Bearing Plates are used to guide and control linear motion of heavy loads.

Various types of bronze wear plates are available : a) Fully finished machined bronze wear plates, and b) Self-lubricating bronze wear plates.

a) Fully Machined bronze wear plates: These wear plates are machined to close tolerance and provided with grease holes and grooves for external lubrication.

b) Sel-lubricating bronze wear plates: These wear plates are used in hard-to-reach areas where lubrication is difficult, for use over long periods without maintenance, at elevated temperatures. Self-lubrication in bronze wear plates is achieved by providing plugs of graphite. Graphiite plugs provide continual lubrication.

Bronze wear plates are machined to close dimensional tolerances and provided with mounting holes.
