Vulcan bullet resistant doors and windows are designed to protect personnel and property from small arms fire when used with similar rated structures. Bullet resistant doors are available in flush design or with vision lights and as single or pairs of hinged doors, including single or bi-parting horizontal sliding doors. Formed, heavy gauge, steel face sheets are constructed around a custom engineered, steel rib core with interior armor plate as required to protect against specified threat. The Bullet resistant system provides cost-efficient readily available protection against assaults at door openings such as isolated utility buildings, cashier islands, currency exchanges, box offices, etc. Available in standard door and window sizes and constructed with GI steel and frames with welded corners in different ratings specified under the standard UL 752 Ballistic Standards.
