ABS-01 Airfield Block System

We have found a deep base in the market place amongst the airfield block system manufacturers located in India. We ply a wide spectrum of aircraft block system and automatic aircraft block system available in diverse models. Blocks in the Aircraft What are the Functions of These Blocks? The different blocks of the system are as explained below: 1) Weather Parameters : The different weather parameters to be broadcast using ATIS are monitored here. The monitoring is done on a continuous uninterrupted basis. The signals available from the sensors are properly conditioned and then sent to the ATC. 2) ATC & Computer : Here the weather parameters obtained from different sensors are checked for correctness on a computer terminal. It is this place where the data available is converted into a proper format and then using proper software is converted into voice message. The output voice message is also checked for correctness. The output is then sent to the transmitter where the data and voice are transmitted in proper format. Transmitter Circuit : 3) Modulation Circuit : In this block the voice data available from the PC is modulated using FM modulation. The main consideration for the FM modulation is that the reception of the voice data must be fully error free and free from noise. The aviation band wireless set is used for transmission. Receiver Circuit : 4) Aviation Wireless Set : This block is available in the aircraft that is going to land or take off. In this block the information broadcasted by the ATC is received and then demodulated. The demodulated data is the voice. 5) Microphone : The voice data available after demodulation of the received data is given to the microphone and this is available to the pilot as a listening aid for the ATIS information.

Distance Measuring Equipment

We reckon as one of the superior amongst aircraft distance measuring equipment suppliers located in India. We can bring an eternal gamut of distance measuring equipment and distance measurement equipment that are designed to fulfill the multifarious purpose of diverse industries. Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) : Knowledge of the aircrafts position is a basic requirement for air navigation and one means of satisfying this requirement is to present the pilot with bearing and distance information. Distance information may be derived from radar or by DME, which is a form of radar. In primary radar a short pulse is transmitted and the time interval from transmission to reception of the reflected pulse is measured. As the speed of an electromagnetic pulse through the atmosphere is 300, 000 kilometers per second, or one nautical mile in 6.2 micro-seconds, the distance between the transmitter and the target can be calculated. In the case of radar sited on the ground an aircraft target may be easily identified and the distance measured readily due to its relative freedom from other reflecting objects. If radar is installed in an aircraft, precise identification of specific ground targets, for all practical purposes, is very difficult to effect due to mass reflection from surrounding objects. Hence primary radar is supplemented by additional equipment at the target to enable distance to be reliably measured to the necessary degree of accuracy. When primary radar is supplemented to accomplish this task it then becomes a form of secondary radar. In secondary radar, pulses known as interrogation pulses are transmitted and when received at the target they are passed through a gate and then trigger transmission of reply pulses back to the initial source where the time interval may be measured and displayed as distance. The gate in the target receiver is an electronic device which is preset to receive only matching pulses. In the DME system the interrogating equipment, known as the Interrogator, is installed in the aircraft and the target, located on the ground, is referred to as the Transponder or Ground Beacon'.

Automatic Weather Station

We are one of the paramount weather station manufacturer and suppliers based in India. We offer you spacious range of automatic weather station and automated weather station at competent prices. Introduction of Automatic Weather Station The most important contribution of aviation to the economy of every nation is the provision of effective national & international transport system. In most industrialized countries, more than 90% of the international long distance travel is now-a-days by air. For many developing countries modern tourism, made possible by effective air links, represents a valuable contribution to the national economy. World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) was set up in 1951 by UN and a Commission for Aeronautical Meteorology (CAeM) was set up to deal with international aspects of the application of meteorology in support of air navigation. The International Civil Aviation Organisation(ICAO) was established in 1947. ICAO is responsible for the specification of aviation requirements in the field of meteorology and for relations with other aeronautical services and operators. ICAO regulations define state responsibility regarding the safety, efficiency and regularity of international air navigation.Meteorology gives valuable support to aviation and is indispensable for the safety of air navigation. Airline transport depends largely on turbojet and turboprop aircraft. Departure time, take-off weight, flight path and altitudes, reserve fuel, alternate airdrome and landing weight are adjusted according to the data provided by the aeronautical meteorological service. Essential meteorological data for take-off and landing are wind direction, wind speed, temperature, humidity or dew point, pressure, visibility and runway visual range, cloud height and weather. The impact of a relatively small change in wind, visibility, temperature or pressure on air operations is very high. Hence it is essential to equip each aeronautical meteorological station with accurate and reliable instruments located at the right position on the aerodrome. These stations continuously monitor and report all weather parameters essential for aviation. These stations are equipped with CWIS (Current Weather Instruments System) for continuous indication and recording of Temperature, Dew Point / Humidity, Wind Speed, Wind Direction and Pressure. CWIS consists of : a.Sensors at site near touch down zoneb.Main console at Met Briefing Room (MBR)c.Slave Display at Air Traffic Control (ATC) Automatic Weather Station (AWS) : An AWS is a station at which instruments make and either transmit or record observations automatically. The conversion to code form, if required, being made either directly or at an editing station AWS consists of : 1. Sensors2. Signal conditioning Amplifier3. Data conversion, storage and transmission Subsystem4. Radio Relay System5. Radio Receiver6. Data Acquisition System7. Computer with necessary software8. Slave displays for ATC & MBR Description of the system 1. Sensors : The system employs sensors for Temperature, Pressure, Humidity, Wind Speed and Wind Direction. Changes in physical properties of sensors which varies linearly with change in meteorological parameters are registered. 2. Signal Conditioning Amplifier : The signal Conditioning Unit accepts the input signals from sensors and gives a necessary conditioned electrical output corresponding to the entire range of each parameter. 3. Data conversion, storage and transmission Subsystem : This subsystem is composed of signal conditioning hardware for preventing unwanted external sources of interference from influencing the raw sensor signals, for protecting the equipments and for adapting signals to make them suitable for the data processing. This subsystem digitizes the data and converts it into a suitable format for radio transmission. All the parameters will be transmitted after every 5 seconds. In case of Radio link failure the data is stored in the internal memory provided. One minute average data of each parameter will be stored. The memory provided is sufficient to store data for 15 days (Or as per IAF need). 4. Radio Relay System : The data is transmitted through VHF / UHF half duplex / simplex transceiver. This transceiver uses packet switching protocol using CRC error detection and correction to prevent incorrect data at receiving end.The Radio Relay system will be capable of transmitting the signals for more than 5 Km. aerial distance. The RF MODEM is engineered for dependable and versatile digital communications with in-built intelligence and CRC check. These units reflect many year of experience are built with an eye towards emerging applications. The MODEM can fill a variety of rolls including basic packet, GPS / APRS, and telemetry. The VHF/ UHF sets are full-featured FM transceivers designed for flexible mobile and base station business communications in the VHF and UHF land mobile bands. These leading edge transceivers provide 5W / 25W of transmitter power. Highly integrated surface mount circuit design and a die-cast aluminum chassis assure reliability. Important channel frequency data is easily programmable by using PC.RF MODEM will accept the data input from Data converter, storage and transmission subsystem. The intelligence inside the MODEM will convert the data into packet formats, will use error correction algorithm. This data will be modulated and transmitted using RF link to MBR (Met. Briefing Room). 5. Radio receiver : The data transmitted by the Radio relay system, is received, demodulated and is checked for CRC for the data integrity. On receipt of correct valid data acknowledgment is transmitted to the Radio Relay System. The received and demodulated data is then brought out for Data Acquisition SystemRF MODEM packet communicator along with VHF/UHF set will be used at this point as FM receiver. 6. Data Acquisition System : Data Acquisition function consists of scanning and storing the output of radio receiver modules at a predetermined rate and translating the signals into computer readable format. The METLOG 02 is a rugged and compact microprocessor based data logger designed to provide a cost-effective solution for meteorological data acquisition and transmission.A simple, user-friendly interface provides access to the METLOG's programmable features, including data storing interval and data printing interval. This programmability, along with its impressive array of sensor capabilities, makes the METLOG a flexible and cost-effective choice for a vast number of monitoring applications. Instrument Landing System

We offer you a widely accepted range of instrument landing system and airport instrument landing system which can be availed from us at most competitive prices. We offer you the markets best products under the single roof named Mihir Enterprises. In addition, we are one of the genius aircraft instrument landing system and suppliers of India. Instrument Landing System (ILS) : ILS is a precision approach system normally consisting of a localizer facility, a glide slope facility, and associated VHF marker beacons. It provides vertical and horizontal navigation (guidance) information during the approach to landing at an airport runway. At present, ILS is one of the primary worldwide, ICAO-approved, precision landing systems. This system is effectively being used by the aircrafts for safe landings during the low visibility conditions. The localizer tracks the central line of the runway and the pointer moves from the center if the aircraft moves away from the central line. Thus acts as a reference to the aircraft positioning. An aircraft is expected to follow a fixed decent cone i.e. it is expected to decent with a given angle. This reference is given by the glideslope which is again a pointer based indicator. Thus while perfect landing the pointers are perfectly perpendicular to each other. Categorisations : Depending on the modernization of the airports or the availability of the systems the airports are categorized as below : 1) CAT I 2) CAT II 3) CAT IIIa 4) CAT IIIb These are done on the following considerations/parameters.
