CAE Airline Lubricator is exclusively designed to provide sufficient lubrication so as to ensure smooth working and prevent frictional wear on the piston. Due to insufficient oil which is frictional wear, the piston in the average Rock Drill reciprocates about 1600 to 2000 times per minute. Other internal parts move at corresponding rates, so frictional wear can be considerable. Friction produces heat and because of this factor it causes real trouble. Even with fine metallurgy, lack of oil can produce heat, it is enough sufficient to cause minute surface cracks that may result in complete breakage of the parts. So, it is suggested to use of Airline lubricators so as to overcome the problems.
