Ming Cycle was established in 1989 by the founder and chairman, Chang Tai Shan. Originally the plant manufactured complete bikes, CKD and parts. Since then under the leadership of Chang Ming Cycle has grown into one of the top 10 global bicycle companies, specialising in OEM products, including world famous brands - GT, Mongoose, & Schwinn. Chang aims to make Ming Cycle the world's most professional OEM bicycle manufacturing company.
In 2001, Ming Cycle began to manufacture a new version of the innovative triangular folding bike STRIDA. In 2007, Ming Cycle bought the STRIDA brand & now 100% own the IP rights. This helped Ming Cycle to become well known for making high quality innovative folding bicycles, as well as OEM bicycles.
In 2012, Ming Cycle invested a new handmade painting workshop and a handmade assembly section to extend the high end bike range. Ming Cycle are committed to a continuous program of innovation and quality improvement.
