Mintri tea co. Pvt ltd was incorporated in the year 1959 and promoted by late sri. O.m.mintri. It has a premium garden under its flagship known as gaya ganga tea estate and is involved in end-to-end tea activity from plantation to manufacturing to warehousing and marketing, catering to the tea drinkers worldwide.

The first section of the gaya ganga tea estate was planted in the year 1918. Today,the garden has over 493 hectres of well managed lush tea plantation and the upkeep is as per best field management practices. It has a state-of-art factory that manufactures about 1.4 million kgs of tea every year. The garden also produces its own bi-clonal tea seeds and has a wealth of plant genetic materials which is the speciality of gaya ganga nursery.

Since the british era the estate takes pride in providing the finest cup of tea and strives to maintain the unique taste with no compromise on its quality.
