The Spiral Wound Gaskets are composed of a metallic continuous stripe with a special shaped profile, coupled with a continuous filling stripe (Asbestos, PTFE, Grafoil, Ceramic etc) evenly wound in concentric spiral under constant stress. The Spiral Wound Gaskets are reinforced on the inner and outer diametre by winding of several electrically welded spiral metal only.

A gasket with a metallic outer shell and either a metallic or non-metallic compressed fiber filler is Metal Jacketed Gasket where the filler material offers resilience and metal jacket protects the filler and resists pressure, temperature and corrosion.Metal jacketed gaskets manufactured at Goodrich Gasket are used as heat exchanger gaskets and also in pumps, valves etc despite of their limited recovery and resilience property. Non-Asbestos Jointing Sheets are made of special non-asbestos heat-resisting fiber, heat-resisting packing material and special rubber compound by heating and compression moulded it. These are used in high temperature and high pressure gasket applications like equipments involving saturated vapour, super hot vapour, gas, air, ammonia alkali, and inert gases and other mediums and used as sealing material in the joints of pipeline. Goodrich Gasket offers Type AF 111, 120, 139, 154, 159, 160 in the compressed non asbestos fiber types.

PTFE gaskets with excellent chemical resistance and inherent cleanliness making the product a suitable sealing agent against aggressive media or feedstock contaminated areas. The presence of an adhesive backed strip eases the installation in large or complex flange applications, such as air conveying and solvent recovery systems

An excellent choice for 150 and 300 class ASME flanges where available bolt loading is minimal. The HTG design combines the superior sealing performance of a premium oxidation inhibited grade flexible graphite with an exceptional oxidation barrier in mica/phyllosilicate. The combination of these two sealing materials allows the user to eliminate the effects of oxidation at extreme temperatures. MLSE HTG family of products are the most stable and impermeable gasket materials available for extreme temperatures. The overall effective rating of the HTG configuration can go to a MAX of 1500F.
