Studded Tubes are used to increase the Surface Areas to achieve higher Heat Transfer Rates. They are used in Fluidized Bed Coils and Fluidized Bed Superheaters. They are also used in Refineries as Reheaters.
We use Automatic Stud Welding Machines using Drawn Arc method capable of welding studs up to max. 13mm Dia. at a very closed pitch. The Material Grade of Studs and Tubes can be similar or dissimilar of grades ranging from Carbon Steel to Alloy Steel to Stainless Steels.
A Superheater Coil is a device used to convert saturated steam or wet steam into superheated steam or dry steam. Superheated steam is used in steam turbines for electricity generation, steam engines, and in processes such as steam reforming. There are three types of Superheaters Coil: radiant, convection, and separately fired. A superheater Coil can vary in size from a few tens of feet to several hundred feet.
Superheaters Coil are used where only dry steam is required in a process/machines such as Turbines. Any moisture content in a steam in such cases happens to degrade or corrode the machine thereby affecting its average operating life. So, superheater coil converts low-quality steam to high quality for end users.
