Coconut syrup has more than 18 months shelf life stored in clean and dry place at room temperature. Coconut Syrup is made only of pure coconut sap or nectar that freshly harvested form from coconut flower and immediately process to avoid further fermentation. Fresh coconut nectar is then naturally processed like coconut sugar also through natural evaporation until become viscous. Evaporation process is under controlled low temperature to avoid over process and to maintain its nutrients. Upon processed, it is packed immediately in air tight packaging. Ultra-gel or 1 tsp. Cornstarch 12 tsp. Coconut extract 12 tsp. Baking soda Directions : In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter or coconut oil, xagave or honey, buttermilk and ultra-gel or cornstarch. Make sure you whisk well while the mixture is still cool to ensure that the ultra-gel or cornstarch doesn't clump. Heat and stir continuously until butter or coconut oil is melted and mixture starts to bubble. Then remove pan from the heat and stir in 12 tsp. Coconut extract and 12 tsp. Baking soda. Mixture will bubble ferociously and leave you with frothy, delicious syrup. Our Coconut Syrup is best served immediately over pancakes, waffles or French toast. You can also refrigerate leftover and reheat as needed. Leftover syrup will not be quite as frothy, but still delicious.
