We "Nahata Plastics" registered as "Nahata Plastics Vyapaar Private Limited" are pioneer family business manufacturer and supplier of wide range virgin plastic based utility products from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Our products are solely sold all over India under the brand name of Nahata Homeware (previously NP & AP).
Under the able guidance of our mentor Mr. Sanjay Kumar Nahata, we havebeen able to create a niche in the industry of plastic manufacturing. His rich industry experience has guided us to become one of the proficient companies among others. We supply mainly in the North-Eastern region and many other nearby states.
The Story:
Mr. Sanjay Kumar Nahata, established Nahata Plastics in the year 1994.
He left his job & started his own business.
He started riding on a cycle, carrying heavy moulds from suppliers to factories on job work manufacturing process.
In 1999, he built his first factory with one injection moulding machine.
At present, Nahata Plastics is having four distinct factories making it a total of 40 injection moulding machines.
He employed friends & family members who looked after production floors & sales respectively.
Currently, Nahata Plastics has a payroll of around 200 employees including middle management members, semi-skilled labourers & women workforce.
He started selling in the local market of Burrabazar, Kolkata. Presently,we supply to an informal chain of distributors across various Indian states.
Timeline:
1994 – Established Nahata Plastics with one injection mould.
1999 – First factory in West Bengal
2017 – Creation of brand “Nahata Homeware”
2018 – 4 distinct factories; 40 injection mould machines; 200 employees; 250 B2B customers.
