A vehicle needs ignition to start the engine. For that very purpose battery is provided in the vehicle to give enough current required by the engine for its cranking. While the engine is on, it charges the battery to make up for the loss of charge during the engine cranking and battery consumed by other parts. That's why we don't have to charge the vehicle's battery separately everyday.
Various parts of the vehicle run on battery like lights, horns, fan, stereo, etc. Leaving these parts on when the vehicle is not being powered by the engine (i.e. the parts are being powered up by the battery while engine has been turned off), can discharge the battery.
Leaving the battery discharged for prolonged period can permanently damage the battery rendering it to be unusable.
Sometimes in case of emergencies, when the battery is discharged, we need to start the vehicle without waiting to charge the battery first. This is where our product "Battery Booster Kit" comes into the picture to help solve this problem.
Our BBK has been specially designed for safe functioning and heavy loads. No assembly of the product is required at the user end. Its a ready to use product.
How to use:
1. Attach red clip to the positive terminal of the charged battery(either loose or of another vehicle).
2. Attach the other red clip of the same cable to your vehicle's battery's positive terminal.
3. Now attach the black clip to the negative terminal of the charged battery.
4. Finally attach the other black clip of the same cable to the chassis(body) of the vehicle, away from the battery(to avoid sparks).
5. Attempt to start the vehicle.
Caution : Do not keep cranking the engine if the vehicle does not start. Give pause in between of 5-10 minutes after every 3-4 failed attempts. For every attempt cranking time should be not more than 6 seconds. If vehicle does not start then there might be some other technical fault in the vehicle for which you may want to consult your technician.
Lastly the connections must be undone in exactly the reverse order of making the connections. More..
