Although lysine is present in various feed ingredients of poultry ration, additional supplementation of this essential amino acid is required for optimum carcass quality in broilers, egg size and weight in layers.
The temperature during pelletisation reduces the digestibility of synthetic lysine by more than 60%. Certain plants contain high quantity of lysine and other amino acids in a readily digestible composition.
Herbal Lysine is developed from selected plants with high lysine activity. Herbal Lysine contains lysine in conjugated dipeptide and glycopeptide form and other lysine conjugates. The conjugation and encapsulation of lysine and its conjugates within the micropores of phytosomes present in Herbal Lysine protects the integrity of lysine to optimize its bioactivity. Thus, Herbal Lysine provides optimum lysine activity for proper protein accretion and other functions in poultry birds so that they reach maximum growth and performance potential. Therefore, Herbal Lysine can be more effectively used as compared to synthetic lysine (dose per dose) with significant savings in feed cost for optimum performance of broilers and layers.
