Package and Formulations of Nature Neem cardamom
We market the Alleppey Green Cardamom, the cardamom grown in Kerala and western Ghats. This variety of cardamom has an excellent Flavor and Aroma. By average, the pods are between 5-20 mm (1/4"-3/4") long. Each pods by average contains small, brown-black sticky seeds in three double rows with about six seeds in each row. We sell in consumer packages ranging from 250gms to 1Kg. We also export in bulk in 50kg gunny bags. We do also meet any packaging as required by the buyer.
Quality :
Nature Neem offers almost all grades of cardamom. Find here below the grades available in Allepey Green cardamom
Super Bold: It is a very special variety. All capsules will be matured greenish and having above 8 mm diameter size. Lt. Wt. will be more than 450 gm.
Extra Bold: Best in the Export market. All capsules will be matured, greenish and having 7 mm and above diameter. Lt. Wt. will be 435 gm
Bold: It is popular export grade; 90% and above capsules will be having 6.5mm and above diameter, matured and Greenish color. Lt. Wt. will be 415 gms.
Small: Small size cardamom having size between 5.5 mm and 6.5 mm. Cleaned and removed dust, husk and black capsules. Lt. Wt. will be around 385 gms.
Bulk: This is the grade of cardamom produced as it is. This grade will contain all size, matured and immature capsules, black, yellow and splited cardamom. It is a mixture of 8 mm -20%, 7 mm -50%, 6 mm - 30%
Cardamom Trade in India
Cardamom is one of the world's very ancient spices. The country, which enjoyed a virtual monopoly in the international small cardamom market till the mid-1980s, lost heavily due to stiff competition from Guatemala. This has affected Indian exports, which in turn has led to a steep fall in domestic prices impacting the cardamom economy. Of late, the West Asian market has started showing interest in Indian cardamom and exports to the country have started picking up.
