This installation transforms the ceiling of the Lokayata Art Gallery in Hauz Khas into an immersive visual experience. Designed within the gallery’s historic gumbad (dome), the glass elements reflect visitors in unique and unexpected ways, altering their perception of space. As viewers move beneath it, their reflections shift and distort, creating a dynamic interaction between the artwork, the architecture, and the audience. Ceiling of Gallery Gumbad invites people to see themselves from new perspectives, turning the gallery’s interior into a space of discovery and visual play.
This elegant fiberglass sculpture captures a moment of pure freedom and joy, portraying a female figure gracefully balanced on one foot, seemingly caught in a spontaneous swirl of motion as if dancing with the wind. Her freely flowing hair symbolizes liberation and the uninhibited spirit of happiness, while the gentle twist of her body, the delicate drapery that clings and moves with her form, and the soft, serene expression on her face beautifully express the essence of inner joy — a woman celebrating herself, her emotions, and her existence with poise and self-awareness.
Created for the Supreme Court in 2024, this sculpture presents a culturally rooted reinterpretation of Lady Justice. Instead of the traditional blindfold, the figure’s eyes remain open—symbolizing clarity, awareness, and the ability to judge with both wisdom and compassion.
Draped in an elegant Indian saree, she also wears traditional jewellery on her neck, head, and ears, reflecting the dignity and cultural identity of Indian womanhood. In one hand, she holds a book symbolizing law, knowledge, and constitutional authority. In the other hand, she carries the weighing scale, representing balance, fairness, and the responsibility of making just decisions.
Through these thoughtful elements, Lady Justice blends Indian aesthetics with universal ideals of justice, creating a powerful and meaningful presence at the nation’s highest court.
The solitary figure on the bicycle conveys both motion and stillness—representing the journey of survival amid isolation, possibly alluding to the global experience of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The use of monochromatic blue emphasizes calmness, introspection, and emotional depth, while also hinting at the fragility of human existence in contrast to industrial materials.

The sculpture First Desire beautifully captures the innocence and yearning of childhood dreams. It portrays a young child joyfully playing with half a bicycle, symbolizing the simple yet profound desire to own and ride one. Though the child doesn’t have a complete cycle, the playful posture and expression reflect pure happiness and imagination — the ability to find joy even in incompleteness. Through this artwork, the artist conveys how children often turn their dreams into play, finding contentment and creativity in what they have, while still holding onto the hope of what they wish for. It is a touching representation of innocence, aspiration, and the beautiful simplicity of childhood desires.
The Little Bee is an imaginative sculpture created from metal scrap, transforming discarded materials into a lively and expressive form. The artwork was conceived by blending both Indian and European artistic sensibilities, symbolizing cultural exchange and creative collaboration. Installed at Delhi Haat, INA, this sculpture was inaugurated during a special event held to celebrate the connection between India and Europe. Through its playful yet powerful presence, The Little Bee highlights resilience, creativity, and the idea that art can unite diverse cultures through a shared vision.
This sculpture portrays the former Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma with a strong sense of dignity and realism. The artist has captured fine facial details that reflect his personality and leadership. The depiction of the kurta and dhoti is especially significant, symbolizing his roots in a farmer family and his close connection to the common people. Created in fiberglass with resin in 2011, this standing figure was later recreated in bronze as well. One of the bronze versions is part of the private collection of Deputy Chief Minister Pravesh Verma. Through its expressive form and thoughtful detailing, the sculpture honors the life and legacy of a respected political leader.
