Bronze Butt Weld Pipe Fittings, can be welded by all common welding techniques, although oxyacetylene and submerged arc welding processes are not recommended when the fabricated item is to be used in corrosive service. In general, wear resistance can be improved by increasing the hardness of an alloy, by specifying an alloy with greater carbon content (without increasing hardness), or by both.
