C.R.I. 80 mm (3") Submersible pumpsets are built with thermoplastic impellers, diffusers and inbuilt check valve. All vital components of these pumpsets are made of corrosion resistant thermoplastic and the shaft is of SS 304/410. Pumpsets are multistage centrifugal type. The optimal design of impellers and diffusers enables the best possible hydraulic efficiency. The pumpset is firmly coupled to a submersible electric motor which operates submerged beneath the surface of water. Built-in check valve prevents back flow and reduces the risk of water hammering. All mounting dimension of 100 mm (4) pumpsets and motors upto 2 HP are in accordance with NEMA standard.

C.R.I. Regenerative monoset pump's volute chamber and impellers are designed to give the best possible hydraulic efficiency and suction lift characteristics. Sealing is by means of a bellows mechanical seal made of carbon and ceramic is fitted over the shaft, which is ground to close tolerance. These pumps are power-driven by a totally enclosed fan cooled A.C. induction two-Pole motor, suitable for continuous duty. Motor stator is made of low watt loss silicon steel laminations assembled under pressure and rigidly locked in the frame. Dynamically balanced rotor ensures vibration free and noise free operations and increase the life of the bearings and seal.

These pumps are power-driven by a totally enclosed fan cooled A.C. induction two-pole and four pole motor, suitable for continuous duty. Motor stator is made of low watt loss silicon steel laminations assembled under pressure and rigidly locked in the frame. Dynamically balanced rotor ensures vibration free and noise free operations and increase the life of the bearings and seal.

C.R.I. 250 mm (10") Borewell Submersible pumpset is made with different materials of construction together with extremely tough hardwearing bushes which make this pumpset highly durable. This pumpset is supplied with stainless steel & LTB-2 impellers to give better performance and longer life. The optimal design of impellers and diffusers offers best possible hydraulic efficiency. This pumpset is powered by a water filled, rewindable submersible motor, which is suitable for continuous duty. The stator is wound with special waterproof synthetic film insulated copper winding wires and made up of low watt loss silicon steel laminations assembled under pressure and rigidly locked in stainless steel stator shell. Specially designed thrust bearings (SS AISI 420 with Graphite Carbon) are used to withstand axial and down thrust loads with minimum wear and tear. Dynamically balanced rotor gives vibration free and noise free operation, thereby increases efficiency and life cycle of the motor.

C.R.I. three core flat cables conform to IS: 694. High conductivity annealed and bunched flexible copper conductors are made from electrolytic bright copper twisted together and insulated with colour coded special grade waterproof flexible PVC compound.
The final protection of outer sheath is made from high grade flexible PVC / Rubber compound impervious to water, grease, oil etc, thereby it ensures long life and has good withstanding capacity to high voltage and current.
These cables are sequentially marked at one metre intervals for convenience. Available nominal size in square milli meters are - 1.5, 2.5, 4, 6, 10 & 16 (Packing 300, 500 & 1000 metres in wooden drums).
C.R.I.Air valve is connected with delivery pipeline to eliminate the trapped air in the system. Normally in horizontal pipeline, due to un-evenness in ground level, there will be an entry of air into the pipeline it results in pipe damages. Air valves are installed in the pipelines.
C.R.I. energy efficient frictionless Foot Valves and Reflux Valves are basically swing type Non Return Valves. Foot Valves are available in screwed type construction and Reflux Valves have threaded portions at both the ends. They are specially designed to give an unrestricted smooth flow of water and thus to reduce the frictional losses to a minimum. The C.R.I. frictionless Foot Valve has 'K' value less than 0.8 and 'K' value for Reflux Valves are less than 0.5. Thereby it reduces additional load on prime mover and also gives more discharge.Foot Valve is placed at the lower end of the suction pipe of a centrifugal end suction pumpset to retain water in the pumpset casing and suction pipe to keep the pumpsets always in priming condition. Reflux and Non Return Valves are fitted generally in the delivery pipeline to avoid water hammer, up thrust and backspin effects in the pumping system. These can also be used anywhere in the suction line of which the bottom end is entered into a bore pipe or tube well. The pressure withstanding capacity of Reflux Valve and Non Return Valve are 1 bar and 15 bar respectively
