APPLICATIONS / USES :The packing Made of sintered, highly stretched PTFE multifilament yarns with thoroughly PTFE impregnation. The packing is then re-impregnated with a mix of PTFE mix during plaiting operation. Good resistance to compression and to extrusion, high structural and cross-sectional density.
Product Description:Lubricated economic ptfe gland packing made from pure PTFE fibres having Duplex Braid construction to increase dimensional stability treated with inert high temperature resisting lubricant to resist migration and to display compressibility and recovery characteristics.
Sigma 72 packing is safe, more flexible, and non-toxic. Fluids can be sealed with a minimum ofgland pressure, there is less friction as well as heat build up. It is an inert, virtually indestructible packing, having a lower co-efficient of friction with good compressive strength.
Service & Application: A good packing to seal against concentrated Acids, Alkali solutions, Agressive organic / inorganic Chemical Rotary and reciprocating plant pumps & valves, oils, corrosive gases, food-processing and pharmaceutical industries. Dyestuffs, synthetic resins, paints, pulp & paper sector chemicals. Equipment glands where no contamination is allowed. Not recommended to use on molten metals and gaseous fluorine.
