    Sigma 99 High Performance Packing (PTFE - Graphite Fibre Gland Packing)

    APPLICATIONS / USES :A universal super performance packing made of PTFE(polytetra fluoro ethylene) Graphite filament yarn reinforced with synthetic fibre gland packing Duplex braided interlock construction to increase dimension stability. The combining benefit of PTFE, Graphite & high temperature resisting lubricants gland packing offers the ideal balance between density, resilience, compressibility, strength and durability of the packing.

    Product Description:A universal super performance packing made of PTFE(polytetrafluoro ethylene) Graphite filamentfibre yarn. Duplex braided interlock construction to increase dimension stability. The combining benefit of PTFE, Graphite & high temperature resisting lubricants gland packing offers the ideal balance between density, resilience, compressibility, strength and durability of the packing.
    A high performance packing is recommended for oil & solvents, caustics, acids, dyes, chemicals, chlorinated water, white and black liquor, wood pulp, detergent, alkalies, hydrocarbons, inorganic chemical handling equipments, steamvalvess, metering pumps, reactors, mixers, autoclave glands, bauxite slurries, bottom ash slurry pumps, mineral handling slurries, tailings pumps and other slurry processing applications. Not recommended to use in strong oxidising agents, aqua regia fluorine, fuming nitric acid, oleum and molten alkali metals.

    Extended service life by up to 400% in harsh environments.

    Low coefficient of friction and minimal shaft wear.
    Very good start-up and emergency running characteristics.
    Less gland adjustment, easy break-in, & even compression in all rings
    Six times better heat conduction as against pure PTFE packings at comparatively high speeds.
    Significantly low thermal expansion thus resisting over expansion extrusion under service.
    The packing does not harden and runs cool.
    It has low co-efficient of thermal expansion.
