Rubber Sheet #319894

Nitrile Rubber Sheets

Standard Sheet Size: 1 mtr width x 2 mtr;Thickness: 1 mm to 50 mmQuality: Pure and Semi

Nitrile rubber is a general purpose material resistant to a large variety of oils and greases. It is the workhorse of oil sealing owing to cost/performance compromise. Different nitrile compounds are available for fuels and for industrial fluids. Nitrile rubber is generally serviceable between -40C and 105C; it can withstand 120C intermittently. It is not recommended for glycol-based brake fluids and EP-type lubricants.

Good general resistance to oil;Good mechanical properties especially tensile strength, flexing, compression set and impermeability to gases. Moderate aging properties and good adhesion to metal.Good resistance to inorganic chemical products except antioxidant agents and chlorine. It gives satisfactory resistance to general hydrocarbons.

Neoprene Rubber Sheets

Quality: Pure, Semi and Commercial.

Thickness: 1 mm to 50 mm

Standard Sheet Size: 1 mtr width x 2 mtr; 1.25 mtr x 10 mtr

Neoprene polychloroprene is an extremely versatile synthetic rubber with 70 years of proven performance in a broad industry spectrum. It was originally developed as an oil-resistant substitute for natural rubber. Neoprene is noted for a unique combination of properties, which has led to its use in thousands of applications in diverse environments.

Neoprene resists degradation from sun, ozone and weather

Neoprene performs well in contact with oils and many chemicals

Neoprene remains useful over a wide temperature range. Neorprene displays outstanding physical toughness. Resists burning inherently better than exclusively hydrocarbon rubbers. Outstanding resistance to damage caused by flexing and twisting

Neoprene Rubber has excellent mechanical and abrasion properties even without reinforcing filters and has a reasonable resilience in grades over 60 shore A. It displays good resistance to heat, ozone and weathering and also gives good adhesion to metal. The recommended operating temperature range is between 40C to +125C. It has good resistance to inorganic hydrocarbons.

Silicon Rubber Sheets

Quality: Pure and Semi;Thickness: 1 mm to 50 mmStandard Sheet Size: 1 mtr width x 2 mtr; 1.25 mtr x 10 mtr

Silicon rubber is physiologically inert, thus making it the preferred choice of medical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries. Silicone have comparatively low mechanical properties, tensile strength, elongating and tear strength, however they keep constant even at high temperatures but should not be used with high pressure steam. Its resistance to oil and hydrocarbon products is fairly limited and similar to that of Chloroprene rubbers. Reasonable resistance to a whole range of general chemical products, but acids, alkalis, esters and kerosene should be avoided. Silicone has excellent resistance to heat (dry air), at +200C intermittent. It remains flexible at low temperatures of -70C and it is also resistant to ultra-violet light, Ozone and weathering. Exhibits low inflammability and low smoke toxicity. It has good electrical insulation properties.

Butyl Rubber Sheets

Butyl has a very low resilience which makes it ideal for vibration damping and shock absorption application but offer a moderate resistance to abrasion and compression set. With careful compounding, Butyl compound can be made to acquire really good tensile strength. It is resistant to most inorganic products and highly resistant to mineral acids, alkalines and aqueous acids. Butyl Rubber Sheets are not recommend in applications where resistance to oils and Hydrocarbons is required

Butyl rubber is a copolymer or isobutylene and small percentage of isoprene and has a very low permeability to air and other gases. It has excellent resistance to ozone, oxidation and sunlight, with an excellent temperature range of -45C to +130C.

Thickness: 1 mm to 50 mm

EPDM Rubber Sheets

Standard Sheet Size: 1 mtr width x 2 mtr;Thickness: 1 mm to 50 mm

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) sheet provides outstanding resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure. It is highly recommended for applications where the elastomer will have excessive exposure to the environment. It provides excellent chemical resistance and dynamic properties. E.P.D.M. material is considered a non-oil resistant material. It has an excellent operating temperature range of -45C to +120C. It is highly recommended for outdoor uses as it is extremely resistant to oxidation, U.V. Rays and Ozone. It is resistant to many chemicals and solvents and shows good resistance to many corrosive chemicals.

EPDM Rubber provides excellent shock absorption and sealingUsed to insulate and protect in high-vibration applicationsEPDM protects lab benches and other work surface when using corrosive chemicals
