iP-8411-MRTU series is a Modbus serial I/O expansion unit to expand I-8K and I-87K series I/O modules over the serial port for industrial monitoring and controlling applications. There are more than 50 I/O modules supported with the unit, including analog input/output, digital input/output, counter, frequency I/O modules. It is designed to be used in harsh and noisy environment, so the hardware is manufactured with wide power input range (10 30 VDC), isolated power input and can operate under wide temperature (-25 +75 °C). To simplify installation and maintenance of I/O modules, it provides many useful features, such as: auto configuration, LED indicators for fault detection, dual watchdog to keep alive, programmable power on and safe values for safety.

Modbus is a very wide known protocol in the industrial manufacturing and environment monitoring fields. Many SCADA software, HMI and PLC has builtin driver to support Modbus devices. The I-8410 is an embedded serial slave I/O expansion unit using DCON Protocol Firmware. ICPDAS provides various I/O modules, such as analog input/output, digital input/output and counter/frequcncy modules, which can be used in remote data acquisition and control applications for environment monitoring, power management and factory automation, etc.

The CPU is a 8-bit 80188 (40 MHz). Apart from the original functions (input, output, power on value, safe value, high limit value, low limit value) of the I/O module, the firmware provides additional functions to allow I/O modules in different slots to be combined together. For example, if the channel value of an AI module is above a predefined high limit value, or below a predefined low limit value, the information can be immediately passed to another DO module to trigger alarm or light.

Various software development kits (SDK) and demos are provided, such as DLL, ActiveX, Labview driver, Indusoft driver, Linux driver, OPC server, etc. The I/O modules can be easily added to the I-8410/I-8810 and can be quickly integrated into an existing system.

The I-8094F and I-9094F are 4-axis stepping/pulse-type servo motor control modules that can be used on the programmable automation controller (PAC) series provided by ICP DAS, and are suitable for general-purpose motion applications. The I-8094F/ I-9094F have the full functions of the I-8094/I-9094 with the addition of an FRnet port, which allows the fast remote I/O of the module to be expanded easily. This two-wired FRnet can automatically scan its 128 DI and 128 DO channels within a period of 2.88 ms. In addition to their wide speed range, these intelligent motion controllers also have a variety of motion control functions built in, such as 2/3-axis linear interpolation, 2-axis circular interpolation, T/S-curve acceleration/deceleration, numerous synchronous actions, automatic homing, and others. A major advantage is that the majority of the I-8094F/I-9094F motion control functions are performed by the high-performance motion ASIC with little load on the processor. While driving the motors, the motion status, and the status of the other I/O channels on the PAC modules, can still be monitored. As the CPU loading requirements of the I-8094F/I-9094F is minimal, one or more motion modules may be used with a single PAC controller. ICP DAS also provides a wide range of functions and examples that can be used to reduce the need for additional programming, making it a highly cost-effective solution for motion control application developers.
