Nipra is engaged in the business of producing aluminium closures (also known as bottle caps or ROPP closures) and printed metal sheets in India. The operations started in 1982 and with steady growth the group became one of the largest players in the metal packaging business in India.
Over the years by launching innovative products (printed aluminium sheets) and manufacturing methods (tandem cutting + coating line) the group has earned a leadership position in the industry. As on March 2014;
There are 6 manufacturing factories located in North, West and Southern India
The annual production capacity of aluminium closures is 2 billion pieces
The group is the largest converter of aluminium closure stock in Indian sub-continent - Annual consumption exceeding 4500 tons
There are 12 metal sheet printing/coating lines in production
The products manufactured under the group’s banner serve various industries such as spirits/distilleries, pharmaceuticals and olive oil.
The products are exported to more than 20 countries in continents of Africa, Europe, Middle East, South America and South East Asia.
