The main function of the elbow is to change the path of the flow in piping fitting system. They are being separated into three major groups - 180 Deg, 90 Deg and 45 Deg. These group categorize the distance to which there is an alternate in direction. These groups are well expressed as a major role of the distance from the midpoint line of one end of the pipe to the opposite face.
Forged Socket Weld & Threaded Fitting Elbow pipe fitting is quite recognized as the midpoint to face its distance and is equal to the radius in the cource of which the elbow is being twisted.
