Completely re-designed gear case with liberal ribbing increases heat dissipating area, streamlined sump carrying more oil and larger capacity of fan enhance the thermal rating of the gearbox. All this means that the continuous load carrying capacity is increased without substantial rise in temperature. No more opening of gearbox for hand changing, just replace the fan and fancowl from one end to other end of worm shaft.
