CORRUGATION GUM POWDER

A Ready-Mix Adhesive Powder which usually has some quantity of free starch and un-gelatinized starch. The free starch gets gelatinized by the heat of Corrugating medium and gives a Stronger bonding. It is based on Best Quality Starch, specially treated and formulated by various additives with water mix ratio (1 : 4 to 1 : 5).

The Gum is carrier based formulation which gives Consistent Viscosity, High initial Tack, Quicker Gelling and rapid bond forming properties to enable the machines to run on desired speeds.

The Gum sets very fast and allow further processing of board without any delay. The adhesive is used on Latest High Speed Corrugation Machines with wide range of BF & gram age of papers.

G U M P R E P A R A T I O N

- Take 150-160 litres (approx.) water in tank/drum

- Pour the 40kg Corrugation Gum Powder to drum

- Stir mixture for approx. 15 minutes

- Measure Viscosity by B4 Cup & Add extra water if needed to get Viscosity
