Omega Butyl Sealing Rope is a synthetic rubber (butyl) based extruded bead sealant. Application: Apply direct from the reel onto one surface and press sufficiently along its length to achieve good initial adhesion. Remove silicon release backing paper and offer other surface to the Sealing Rope and push firmly to ensure an effective joint along the full length.When used as a collar for fixing plugs, cut Rope to length, remove silicon backing paper and wrap around plug shank against fixing head prior to fixing.
