Optical Light Source

Optical light source is available in different models with varying specifications that meets the requirement of different users. The laser source is available either with single or dual laser source operating at 1310 & 1550 nm wavelengths. All the models are handheld units making it very handy for usage.Some of these products are type approved by TSEC, Govt of India.

Features
Users can select the model based on single or dual wavelengths of operation.
Alpha-numeric display with backlight or Organic color graphical display.
Keypad with soft touch keys for smoother operation and long life.
Can be operated with internal battery or ac power supply.
The battery can be charged with adapter connected to instrument or with USB port.
The output power can be varied over a range of 6 dB or fixed.
The output power of the laser diode can be displayed in dBm or mW.
The laser output can be modulated at three different frequencies.
Auto Off of the unit for power saving and long battery life.
The instrument is provided with soft start for slow turn On & Off of the laser diode.
Wavelength identification with the corresponding optical power meter.
A rubber holster is provided to the instruments for additional protection against falls.

Radio Over Fiber

Optical Transmitter(TX) will convert the RF signals into Optical Signal.The optical Transmitter works on the principle of direct modulation. A typical link consists of an optical transmitter that receives the RF signal, transmits it over a single mode fiber to an optical receiver and reconverts the optical signal to RF. This Radio over Fiber Modules is suitable for Telecommunications, Antenna Remoting, Optical Delay lines & Radar Applications. These modules can be used as Optical Distributed Systems in Radar application. By using these modules communications can be established from meters to few Kilo meters long Distances. Transceiver modules have small form factor therefore they are easily accommodated in less space.
