This product is soluble in an aqueous alkaline solution at a temperature of 600c on stirring. It is also soluble in various solvents containing hydroxyl group, in methanol, ethanol, propanol, acetic acid, formic acid and so on, but is not soluble in glycerol, palmitic acid and hydrocarbon.
