PTFE with its versatile characteristics like wide temperature withstanding capacity From -180oC to +260oC, chemically inert, excellent dielectric properties, low water absorption, lowest co-efficient of friction, resistance to ultra violets rays, non adhesive, non-ageing etc. has wide industrial applications in Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Bio-medical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Environmental, Defence & space engineering applications. PTFE SHEET (MOULDED):

  • Thickness : 3.00mm to 100mm
  • Width : 300mm to 1500mm.
  • Make to Order : Other Thickness, length & width are available as per customer's requirements
  • Filled Grades : Glass fibres, Carbon, Graphite, Molybdenum disulphide & Bronze

PTFE SHEET (SKIVED):
  • Thickness : 0.10mm to 6mm.
  • Width : 300mm to 2000mm
  • Make to Order : Other Thickness, length & width are available as per customer's requirements
  • Filled Grades : Glass fibres, Carbon, Graphite, Molybdenum disulphide & Bronze

Properties

  • One of the most stable thermal plastic, functions from -180oC to + 260oC.
  • Resistance to virtually all corrosive material, Moisture & U.V.
  • Very low co-efficient of friction.
  • Non-stick, Non-flammable, Non-toxic.
  • Excellent dielectric properties & tensile strength even at low temperatures.
  • Teflon sheet is approved by the Food and Drug Administration & can be used food, beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceutical applications.

  • Water Absorption: 0.01
  • Heat Resistance: -250oC to +260oC

Pure PTFE 0% Excellent chemical resistance, Outstanding Electrical properties, Excellent Flexural properties.
Glass filled PTFE 15-25% High compressive strength, Excellent chemical resistance, Better wear resistance.
Carbon Filled PTFE 25-35% Lower coefficient of friction, High compressive strength, Better wear resistance, Better electrical conductivity.
Graphite filled PTFE 15% Better chemical resistance, High compressive strength, Better wear resistance, Better electrical conductivity, Improved frictional properties.
Bronze filled PTFE 40-60% Better thermal conductivity, Lower coefficient of friction, High compressive strength, Excellent wear resistance, Excellent chemical resistance.
