the presence of very small/minute pieces of ferrous, non-ferrous or stainless steel metal particles inside compressed tablets coming out of a tablet press can be detected through a metal detection machine. these tablets containing metalparticles will be automatically rejected through a chute. the outlet of the metal detection machine is connected to a tablet deduster unit where tablets are conveyed upwards and the de-dusting is achieved through vibration. on the deduster, the tablets are gradually elevated upwards by adjustable vibration along perforated stainless steel tray to ensure that dust that isadhering to tablets iseffectively discarded. tablets free of dust, enhance performance in downstream operations like coating, bottle, strip or blister packaging. all contact partsare made of stainless steel 316 grade and non contact parts are made of stainless steel 304 grade. the deduster is also provided with a see through cover made of acrylic at the top of the unit. vacuum nozzles are provided to remove dust through a dust collection / extraction machine (optional). the standard deduster conveys/dusts the tablets for approx. 1 meter. a bigger model which conveys/dusts the tablets for approx. 3 meter is also available.
