Descriptions :

 

  • AXYLOX ®- PD is a combination of two beta-lactam antibiotics, Amoxycillin and Cloxacillin.
  • The antibiotics exert their bactericidal action by inhibition of cell wall synthesis.
  • Amoxycillin is active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram- negative pathogens, and cloxacillin acts against penicillinase producing gram-positive pathogens.

 

Side Effects :

  • Adverse drug reaction are as those for other b-lactam antibiotic.
  • Side effects include : Nausea, vomiting, and easy fatigue. Loose bowel movements (diarrhea) also may occur.
