At present this operation is completed either on lathe machine or on conventional milling machine which takes lot of time and it is a cumbersome process. But due to the advent of our new milling machine, this operation is simple, exact and fast and ultimately it is done at low cost.
This machine gives precise keyways with high production at low cost. This is greatest suitable for achieving P-9 tolerances for shaft keyways.

This is an automatic key-way milling machine specially designed for making key-ways on shafts. It is robust design SERVO Mechanism to achieve precise key-ways at high production. In this machine depth of cut is controlled by SERVO MOTOR and the shaft is clamped with self-centering vice.
The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) provides automatic feed with variable depth of cut as per stroke requirement. At desired final depth, the machine gets automatically stopped with instant sound of buzzer and spindle automatically reaches to its home position.
