It is obligatory on the part of the project management to obtain Consent for Establishment and Consent for Operation from the Board under Section 25 of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 as amended and under Section 21 of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as amended.

As per the Sub Para (ii) of Para 10 of EIA Notification 2006, It is mandatory for the project management to submit a Half-yearly Compliance Report to show the status & compliance of all the conditions mentioned in Environmental clearance, along with monitoring of various environmental parameters (as per Norms), to the regulatory authority concerned, on 1st June and 1st December of each calendar year
