• Quickest and Easiest Assembly and Disassembly :
  •  To assemble tubing into the PUSH-TO-LOCK Fittings, just push the tubing into fitting upto the bottom and leakproof connection is made.
  •  Disassembly is achieved by pushing release collar. This disengages the gripper collet and allows the tubing to be pulled out. It's that simple.
  • Push : it's connected;
  • push/pull : it's disconnected.

•  No Tubing Twist : The gripper collet and tubing are free to rotate within the fitting body. If the tube is rotated, it will not twist or weaken.
• Swing Clearance Problems Eliminated :
• Elbows and tees are available with an integral swivel at the male pipe end. This allows the pipe thread to be tightened without rotating the elbow or tee. It also permits the pipe thread to be tightened without worry about where the other end of the fitting will point, as it can be rotated into position after the pipe thread is tight.

  • Slide nut, Sleeve onto tubing. The thread end of the nut must face out.
  • Insert the tube into the fitting. Be sure the tube is bottomed on the fitting shoulder.
  • Assemble nut to body, and tighten the nut.

• Assembly Instructions For Lower pressure Applications :   
  • Slip tube nut and sleeve over tube.
  • Insert tubing in fitting body as far as it will go and tighten nut until stop is reached.Cut the tube cleanly and squarely removing all burns.
  • There is no danger of overt-tightening. The elastic sleeve ordinarily will extrude slightly around the tube at the end of the nut. This extrusion further aids in isolating the tube from the nut.

• Assembly Instructions For Higher pressure Applications :   
  • Consult pressure chart to determine if tubing should be belled for your particular application. FIG A.
  • Slip the nut and sleeve over tubing. The sleeve should be positioned near end of tubing Applications just behind the surface to be belled. FIG. B.
  • Bell tubing with standard 45 o flaring tool or 90 o punch. The size of bell should be approximately that shown in FIG. C.

• Remark Instructions : All Vibra-Lok fittings can be reassembled repeatedly. New sleeves can easily be added to retain original fitting performance.
