Remote Status Panels or remote monotoring panels as they are also known, provide installations with a device to directly monitor operating status parameters and alarms without the need for a dedicated PC or network connection. Typically a remote status panel will mimic the front panels of the monitored devices and include an audible alarm. Most installations are subject to site survey to assess cable runs and connection between the systems to be monitored and the location of the remote status panel. This could be within a general control or access room, and may be especially important where the UPS and associated systems are located within a secure access or remote location.
