The Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII) 3G-series gas booster is an air driven reciprocating piston assembly. The non-lubricated gas boosting section is available in single acting / single stage configuration only. The drive section uses outside source of drive gas such as compressed air to cause the reciprocating action of the gas section piston. Each boost section contains integral inlet and outlet check valves.

HII gas boosters are non-contaminating. The unit provides complete separation between the driving gas/air and the gas being compressed. No electrical connections are required.
