As a finishing coat for protection of structural steel in severely corrosive environment where light fastness and gloss retention are important.

TYPICAL USE:

SURFACE PREPARATION:

Ample ventilation should be provided. In confined spaces, circulate adequate supply of fresh air continuously during application and drying to ensure removal of all solvent vapors.If applied by brush, this should not be morethan 4 wide. The paint must not be workedtoo much or it will become streaky and greyish.After the paint has been lain on, it should be laid off with light strokes and in one direction only.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:

As a general rule, avoid inhalation of solvent vapours or paint mist and contact of liquid paint with skin and eyes. Provide forced ventilation when working with solvent borne coating in confined spaces or stagnant air. Also provide respiratory, skin and eye protection. Follow local and national safety regulations.

semi shine paints is most often used on doors, trim, and cabinets in kitchens and bathrooms. It is easily cleaned and lays down a nice, subtle shine, without being too glitzy. Take care with wall preparation work, as poorly prepared surfaces can be a bit distracting when highlighted by a semi-gloss surface.

There are one or two little details you'll want to take care of before putting flat paint over semi-gloss. If you want your flat paint to stick to your semi-gloss you'll have to rough it up a bit. In other words, you'll first have to knock the sheen off the semi-gloss. This can take a little extra time and effort on your part, but it is essential for a professional-looking paint job.And keep in mind that flat paint, even supposedly washable flat paint, will never clean up as easily or as well,
especially in kitchens and bathrooms. In those two rooms you are almost always better off in the long run painting with a semi-gloss paint.
