Fine grains of Coal/Coke or Charcoal mixed with suitable binder fed into the nip of a pair of counter rotating rolls and are compacted in mass of uniform shape and size, called briquettes. The separating force during the process is resisted by mechanically by 2 nos pressure bolts. In a roller press machine, material is made dense by compressing between two main rotating rolls moving in opposite directions.
