Aluminium Scrap Zorba is a commonly traded non-ferrous scrap material widely used for melting and recycling purposes
What is Zorba (ISRI Definition)
Zorba is officially defined by the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) as Shredded Non-Ferrous Scrap, predominantly aluminium. It:
Consists mainly of aluminium, along with other non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, magnesium, stainless steel, nickel, tin, and zinc, in elemental or alloy form.
Is produced through shredding and advanced separation processes including eddy current separation, air separation, flotation, screening, and magnetic separation to remove free iron.
Must be completely free from radioactive materials, dross, and ash.
Is classified into grades (e.g., Zorba 85, Zorba 90, Zorba 95), where the number represents the estimated percentage of non-ferrous metal content. Higher grades indicate higher aluminium content and lower impurities.
Actual specifications and impurity limits are subject to mutual agreement between buyer and seller, as per ISRI guidelines
Packaging & Logistics
40 ft ISO Container

Designed for maximum bulk economy and large-volume international exports
Suitable for automotive shredder scrap
20 ft ISO Container
Load capacity: 14–18 tonnes
The material is optimized for international bulk handling with minimized cost per unit, making it ideal for large-scale recycling operations
Aluminum Scrap TENSE is a premium ISRI-grade mixed aluminum castings scrap widely used in secondary aluminum smelting. The material consists of clean aluminum cast components such as engine blocks, transmission housings, and industrial cast parts, free from iron, brass, dirt, and other non-metallic contamination. Oil and grease content is maintained below 2% to ensure high recovery during remelting. Tense scrap typically delivers aluminum recovery of 95–99%, making it an ideal raw material for producing ADC12 and LM series alloys. We supply high-quality aluminum Tense scrap with reliable inspection, consistent density, and export-ready packaging for global buyers.
Key Features of Tense Aluminum Scrap

Insulated Aluminum Wire Scrap – TWANG
TWANG is the official ISRI code for Insulated Aluminum Wire Scrap, consisting of aluminum conductors covered with plastic or rubber insulation. This grade is widely traded in the non-ferrous scrap market and is typically sold on a recovery basis.
We supply high-quality insulated aluminum wire scrap suitable for mechanical stripping and aluminum recovery operations.
