A handheld under vehicle scanner is a security tool suitable for physical inspection of vehicles before they are allowed to enter into a safe and restricted area. It has a long arm attached to a wheeled trolley with a high-intensity shatterproof mirror and a source of light. The arm can move the trolley and the mirror to 180degrees to get a full view of under vehicle area.
