output from gauger485 is serial ascii strings over rs485 wires. Gauger485 exhibits an integral graphic display and keypad.
a cost-effective model without the display and keypad is also available. Sensor material is pvdf – making the system an excellent solution even in the presence of highly aggressive and corrosive chemicals.
input power is 10.8-33 vdc allowing battery based operation with three 3.6v li cells.
a usb port (device side) enables pc configuration, local monitoring and firmware upgrades. Optional ex-rated model (intrinsically safe).
maximum range for liquids is 8 meters (26') and for solids is 6 meters (19').
the system exhibits a small dead zone of 15 cm (6”). Volume is reported in liters (gallons) for cubical and cylindrical tanks.
