P. Subbaraj & Co., a constituent of V. P. N. Group was incorporated in 1967 as a manufacturer of animal by-products mainly Crushed bones for Gelatine Industry.

V. P. N. Group was originally founded by Shri, V. Perumal Naidu among the pioneers of Bone Industry in India in 1949. The brand VPN has become synonymous with quality and reliability all over the world in this industry.
