We are offering Soldier Waist Belt with adjustable sword hanger (3 buckles). on the verge of seven years war, the french army adopts a new waistbelt. two buckles allows adjustment of the sword angle. similar waistbelts are depicted in eisens exercice of arms and in a famous series of watercolors dated 1757 and showing french regiments. the use of this sort of belt in new france is confirmed by simple d buckles found at fort carillon (ticonderoga, n.y.). cream colored buff leather, brass buckles with iron tongues. on request our regular buckle (bouc-01) or our buckle with lateral tongue (bouc-02) could be sewn on this belt.
