For this application a re-circulatory system incorporating a holding vessel is the best solution , where the proportion of feed gas can be reduced to zero . The tank is pre-charged with a calculated mass of absorbent , which is circulated through the column. The gas is introduced at a point between the two heat exchangers , and rises through the packing against the failing stream of absorbent.the upper exchanger removes the heat of solution , and the lower one cools the product.
The Distillation arrangement is with Descending Type Coil Condenser , a total condenser, product cooler and vent condenser. Glass reaction vessels are available up to 400 litres in capacity.
